The Virtuoso+ takes everything we love about the Encore and builds on it to make our favorite grinder at this price point! This is the perfect grinder if you are looking for better grind consistency, faster grind times, and a digital timer for grinding consistent coffee doses without pulling out your scale every time you brew. The Virtuoso+ carries the same 12 month warranty from Baratza as the Encore and is super easy to repair and get parts for if you have any breakdowns down the road.

Here are some things we love about it:

Digital Timer - Using the jog wheel on the front of the grinder, you can set a grind time with 0.1s accuracy. This is great for grinding the same amount of coffee every time after you get your favorite coffee dialed-in.

Enhanced Burr Set - The Virtuoso+ is capable of grinding at a rate of 2 grams per second with more consistency than the Encore. Baratza also says this burr set produces less fines than most other home grinders. Less fines means less over extraction and more sweetness and balance when you brew coffee!

Here are a couple of our favorite features:

• 40mm Hardened Steel Burrs - Quality burrs and a solid motor are the heart of a good grinder. These burrs do a solid job grinding coffee for aeropress, drip, French press, and lots of other brew methods. The Encore does a killer job with coarser brewing methods, but we wouldn’t recommend it for espresso.

• 40 Grind Settings - The Encore offers 40 grind settings so you can fine-tune your coffee based on your brewing method and batch size. We recommend starting around 20 for drip and most other brewing methods and adjusting to taste from there.
